PattyPong
A game within a game: two people controlling one pong controller while playing pattycake.
To make the well-known game of pong more interactive, we have created wearable pong controllers that move the on-screen paddle left and right as you play pattycake with your hands. To move the controller left for example, the two pattycake players must clap their hands individually, then clap their left hands together. Teamwork is essential, as it requires two players just to move one controller.
The controllers consist of two sets of gloves with conductive fabric on the top and bottom of each glove. When your hands clap together, these pieces of fabric serve as switches. one piece of fabric as the pin, and the other as the power. To move the controller, you must clap your hands together individually to set the paddle and then clap your hand together with your partner the direction you want the paddle to move (left hands for left and right hands for right).
